Join the extremely talented Marna Lunt of Little a Designs as she returns to the beautiful surrounds of Preston Park Museum for a day of relaxing hand stitching. During the day Marna will show you how to design and make unique embroidered images using nature as inspiration to create a handmade piece for you to take home and display. You’ll learn about different stitches and explore combinations of fabric patterns, embellishments and applique. There will also be time to turn your mini masterpiece into a tea-light holder. No previous experience needed, all tools and materials provided, however if you have a particular cotton fabric or threads you’d like to use please feel free to bring it along. Refreshments and delicious cakes will be served throughout the day.
