This website is an online learning platform where you can learn the way Marna approaches her embroidery, it is an artist led workshop which concentrates on Marna's style and her ways of working.
A basic knowledge of embroidery stitches is required to complete each of the short online courses but do not fear if you are not sure of the stitches and want to learn more and create lots of fun patterns with those stitches then there is a FREE Stitch & Sampler course available where you can learn those and become more confident before attempting the levels or others short courses available. This course is given free to all students and has no time limit, it is a gathering together of videos of me stitching up to forty stitches so you can watch and learn from home.
By joining me on my Thread Therapy courses you will gain confidence in your abilities and learn to find your own style. You will be shown places to find inspiration & fuel your inspiration helping you to develop your own creative flare with lots of fun exercises and projects. Each course has it's own style and information for varying degrees of experience.
Throughout the year more courses will be added, so the best way to keep up to date will be to sign up to the mailing list, that way you will always know when new courses are coming and have the first opportunity to grab a place. Places will always be limited to ensure I can give you all the attention you need.
The online courses will be given through videos, podcasts, notes and photos. There will be printable PDFs for you to keep. You will be given access to an exclusive Marna Lunt Students group on Facebook which will be private for members of the Thread Therapy community. There will be no time limit to your memberships of this group. It will be a great place to network with fellow 'apprentices' and share your projects and ask each other for help, exchange ideas and generally have lots of fun together. Don't be shy to say hello and grow our own community in a safe and happy place.
These courses are only available to members and are not to be shared or copied with any non members, there will be rules of etiquette to play by to ensure everyone has a fun and enjoyable time in the groups. They are for your personal use and not commercial benefit.
