"We live in a fast paced world, along with stresses of modern living, we sometimes allow people, situations and careers to define us, we are then unable to be our true selves.  This can have a huge impact on not just how we feel, but how we look and how we age.  If we are not nurturing ourselves, are of ill health, going through stressful or life changing circumstances, we can become irritable, tired, burnt out or even depressed.  This can deplete our energy system, sometimes manifesting into physical ailments, this in turn making us feel and look drained, decisions, and making right life choices may become difficult.  As a mother of three children I understand the importance of balancing almost everything, most importantly having 'me' time, where we can rebalance relax & rejuvenate.  Once we invest in ourselves, we appreciate how it helps us feel, how we look, this can help give us a new perspective to our everyday living.  We all possess our own energy field, it is our responsibilty to keep healthy and in balance, healing can come in many different forms, I believe all aspects of the 'whole' person need to be considered in order for that process to take place. "

Indian Head massage is a relaxing seated treatment.  The  therapist places their hands on the client's, head, neck, shoulders and upper arms, and can be applied through clothes or directly onto the skin using oil.  This encouraging total relaxation, so reducing stress and promoting physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.  By applying pressure to points in the upper back, arms & shoulders that will release muscles and knots, Moving on to the neck and head to reduce head-ache causing blockages and encourage better circulation of the cerebral fluid.  It increases oxygen to the scalp and hair follicle which in turn stimulates hair growth. Improves lymphatic drainage and blood flow to the neck, helping to remove waste products from the body.   Rebalances  energy levels, working on the Ayurvedic concept  which goes beyond the limits of healing and places emphasis on balance.  Working on the chakras has a powerful effect in bringing the energy of the body back into balance.
