You will be taught how to make both drum and stretch frame construction techniques. There’s all you need to know about making large scale reclaimed frames as well as shop bought shaped frames. Then I also show you standard drum shades, what you need and how to use a kit. Double sided drum shades and smaller lanterns.

This course aims to show you the different techniques and ways in which you can use your larger scale textile works giving this course a very different focus than most lampshade making courses. All taught to you in the same way as the other Marna Lunt courses, using hours of videos and pdf notes guiding and supporting you through the whole process.

This is not an embroidery course, it concentrates on the process of making the actual final product rather that the stitching of the picture before making a shade complete.
