An amazing long weekend of luxury in a beautiful location deep in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

You will learn how to make a lampshade of anything you like, landscape, flowers, what ever tickles your fancy. If you don’t fancy making a lampshade you can make hanging fabric pictures, lanterns, or even during your own clothes that you fancy revamping. All materials will be included. Beautiful accommodation for two nights in the centre of the village, all meals as well as cake and refreshments throughout the day.

Amanda from Be You Holistic Beauty will be on hand one day to give us an Indian Head Massage, head, shoulder, neck or hand massage to ease away those worries and add to the amazing sense of calm and wellbeing that this stunning location and teaching brings. Amanda is a very experienced and wonderful professional with years of experience, she can talk to you about Reiki, reflexology and has a gift at relaxing the those tired muscles.

This truly is a creative spa weekend to soothe the soul and enjoy some much needed you time, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, surrounded by moorland, fresh air and a stunning venue. Revel in the creative atmosphere, talk a small walk around the village and enjoy the lovely local businesses, eat, drink and be merry surrounded by light, fabric, birdsong and giggles.

You can come on your own or with a friend, and meet like minded people, make new friends and learn a new skill.

A truly unique experience and opportunity to be taught and inspired by Marna, in her place of birth and all the amazing scenery that has fuelled her creative career. You even get a lovely bag of goodies with special offers and treats. AND go home with a new skill, pride, and a sense of excitement on a new adventure and community that you have joined.

Workshops start at 4pm on the Friday afternoon at the Ley Hall, with drinks (home made fizz by one of the amazing locals)  and introductions. We finish at 4pm on the Sunday with a show and tell and good bye cuddles and happiness. All information will be emailed to you with the itinerary and your accommodation before the event.

More details on the venue and accommodation can be found in the Embroidery Retreats area.
