This course aims to show you the different techniques and ways in which you can use your larger scale textile works giving this course a very different focus than most lampshade making courses. All taught to you in the same way as the other Marna Lunt courses, using hours of videos and pdf notes guiding and supporting you through the whole process.

This is not an embroidery course, it concentrates on the process of making the actual final product rather that the stitching of the picture before making a shade complete.

This a four week course and only has one to one help available on the dates above. But the course remains online and available to watch and work on until the end of June.

The stitches course will come free with this course and accompany it perfectly.

The course is designed to give you all the basics you need and give you inspiration on what to make and how to make it well and with ease. Once you have completed this course any further courses with me will be easy and you’ll have a running start. The course is given over a two week period, from 2nd May to the 16th May 2016. The course will only be available during this period so please only sign up if you are free to give it your attention during this period. After the 6th June there will be no access. (The free stitch course however has no time limit and can be accessed forever)

This course requires basic knowledge of stitches and how to transfer patterns onto fabric. You do NOT need to know how to draw. This is not a drawing course. You will be using a photo of your own and transforming it into a thread portrait painting. The course will be given over a two week period from 27th June- 11th July 2016. It will only be available during this period so please only sign up if you can commit some of your time to the course during this  time frame. The free access to the Stitches and Samplers course will have no time limit and this free information will be of great use to you along side your portraiture course.
